Our people are the heart-beat of The White Company. Whether you are in finance, buying, creative, retail, customer service, distribution centre, multi-channel or any of our other business areas our approach to Learning and Development is about building and bringing alive our ethos of empowering our people to own and deliver their learning and development.

When it comes to our ‘Talent’, we believe everyone is talent and everyone is talented. So to bring alive this belief, we aim to provide opportunity for everyone to have access to various learning and development opportunities through both formal and informal development opportunities.

We believe learning and development opportunities happen all the time whether it be a conversation with a peer, an article or blog you’ve read, use of social platforms, a coaching conversation, engaging with a mentor, shadowing a colleague, attending a workshop or conference, completing online learning, listening to a podcast, watching a video, catching up with your network, being part of a working party or listening group, getting involved in a cross functional project amongst hundreds of other things!

And yes, everyone has all of those great things like Role and Brand Inductions, Annual and Mid Year Reviews, Personal Development Plans, Career Discussions, Succession Planning, Product Launches and role specific learning opportunities.
